More Time, More Money, More Life

How many times have you thought:

“If it’s going to be done right, I’ll have to do it myself!”

“It’s hard to depend on my team.”

“I can’t leave, because if I do, things just don’t go right!”

“I’m chained to my own business!”

Those thoughts, that pain you feel are symptoms of a deeper problem, a problem that is common to all organizations.  Perhaps you don't feel that pain personally, but you see it in the people around you.  It shows up in a number of different ways:

  • Overwork
  • Limited time with family
  • Little or no vacation time
  • Stress
  • Under performing financials
  • Inadequate customer service
  • Fear

Your team just doesn't function like a team:

  • Working together positively
  • Meeting customer deadlines
  • A spirit of "can-do"

FACT: Less than 10% of managers have received any training in basic management skills such as hiring or managing people, negotiation, motivating their team, communicating with people (both internally and externally), keeping employees (after investing in them), time management, organization, dealing with upset customers, etc.

That pain you feel is caused by your team not pulling their weight, but they're not lazy, they just don't know what else to do!  They have been trained to do exactly what they're doing.

So how do managers learn? How do they develop? The truth is only a few exceptional people are able to get their teams to excel by “figuring it out”.   At best, the most common way of developing leaders is a hit or miss proposition.  Those that are left to their own devices develop bad habits; habits that have a direct impact on your bottom line.

FACT: The Gallup Organization studied over 3 million employees (1998-2002) and found that when managers were more engaged and skilled in these areas, the result was an increase in company productivity of 50% and in customer loyalty of 56%.

FACT:  Research has shown that employee loyalty has a direct effect on customer loyalty.  Just a 5% improvement in customer retention has been shown to have 25%-100% increase in profits.

Organizations that commit to developing their managers receive the benefits managers  provide:

  • increased sales,

  • increased customer retention,

  • and increased profits.

By purposefully developing your managers, they feel valued and become more loyal to your organization and its mission.

This is what we do.  We help you unleash the potential of your team and your business, teaching them the most important skills of all:  how to lead and manage people.
